Intel Corp. INTC will sell a roughly 20% stake in its IMS Nanofabrication GmbH business to Bain Capital Special Situations, the chip maker said Wednesday. The transaction values IMS at about $4.3 billion and is expected to close in the third quarter. Intel in 2015 acquired the IMS business, which does multi-beam mask writing, a technology that plays into the chip-manufacturing ecosystem.
