The DOL reported : In the week ending March 16, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 210,000 , a decrease of 2,000 from the previous week's revised level. The previous week's level was revised up by 3,000 from 209,000 to 212,000. The 4-week moving average was 211,250, an increase of 2,500 from the previous week's revised average.

Zillow Home Value Index: "Real" Home Value Fall (Again) in February

In February, nominal home values increased for an 11th straight months while "real" home values fell for a 6th straight month. Last month's ZHVI came in at $347,716, up 0.22% from the previous month and up 3.62% from one year ago. However, after adjusting for inflation, the real figures are -0.21% month-over-month and -2.22% year-over-year.
