The more someone trades, the more they are fighting that natural inertia other than proper assetallocation targets and mitigating sequence of return risk when relevant. I can see the dip last August being one that most people forget about but I don't think that will be the case with the Q1 into April 2025 event.
If one stock makes up more than 10% of your overall assetallocation, it’s probably too much. A diversified portfolio is the cornerstone of a risk-adjusted investment strategy. Since single stocks don’t move like the broader market, you’re exposed to much greater risk.
