With a market capitalization of Rs 9,714 Crores, the share price of C E Info Systems Limited (“MapmyIndia”) was trading over 2% up to hit an intraday high of Rs 1799.80 per share from its previous closing price of Rs 1758.05 per share.
C.E. Info Systems Ltd (MapmyIndia), India’s leading digital mapping and geospatial technology firm, has secured a new project worth approximately Rs 233 crore. The seven-year contract involves map data licensing for domestic use and was awarded by an international corporate client in the private sector.
This win further strengthens MapmyIndia’s leadership in the mapping and location-based technology space. With no promoter group interest involved in the awarding entity, the deal underlines the company’s monopoly status and growing demand for its proprietary digital map and platform solutions.
C.E. Info Systems Ltd, better known as MapmyIndia, is India’s leading digital mapping and geospatial technology company. Founded in 1995 by Rakesh and Rashmi Verma, the company offers digital maps, geospatial software, and location-based IoT solutions through its MaaS, SaaS, and PaaS platforms.
MapmyIndia has mapped over 6.29 million kilometers of roads and 17.79 million places across India. Its technology powers navigation, tracking, and analytics for major tech companies, automakers, logistics firms, banks, government bodies, and more, touching millions of lives every day. As of March 31, 2025, MapmyIndia has an open order book of Rs 1,500 crore, with a projection to reach Rs 2,000+ crore by 2028.
The company reported a revenue of Rs 463 crore in FY25, up by 22.16 percent from its FY24 revenue of Rs 379 crore. Coming to its profitability, the company reported a net profit rise of 10.45 percent to Rs 148 crore in FY25 from Rs 134 crore in FY24. The stock delivered an ROE and ROCE of 20.3 percent and 27.7 percent, respectively.
